Khmelnitski - a city in Ukraine, the administrative center of Khmelnitsky region. Located on the river Yuzhniy Bug. Prior to 1954, was called Proskurov. 
History: Khmelnitski City was founded in the late 15 th century. While the city was a kind of post for foreigners and was at the crossroads of many trade routes. Due to its geographical location the city has evolved and now can boast that takes not the last place in the trade.
Khmelnitski market - one of the biggest wholesale markets in the country. Agriculture is developed in the city. It grows wheat, sugar beet, potatoes. The city received its name in 1954, after the famous Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
