Simferopol - the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Administrative, industrial, scientific and cultural center of the country. Located in the center of the Crimean peninsula on the river Salgir. Simferopol name means in Greek «a city utility» (literally Polzograd), as well as city collector.
