Yalta — a city-resort at southern coast of the Crimean peninsula. 
Yalta is interesting by a unique combination of the architectural monuments entered in a mountain landscape. There is a set of beautiful buildings of the end XIX — the XX-th century beginnings. Yalta was favourite vacation spot of the Russian aristocracy pulled on Southern Coast of Crimea after an imperial family.
History: Yalta has been based by Greeks presumably in I century. The legend says that the Greek seafarers misdirected during a storm long strayed in search of coast and when, at last, have seen coast they decided to name it as a place of disembarkation settlement.
Under the most widespread version the city name occurs from greek (yalos) — "coast", however there are hypotheses and that the city name has a Turkic origin.
